| My beloved Weezer cat is missing again. I haven't seen her since Halloween night, and none of us saw her get out. It's as if she has vanished. I have flyered the neighborhood, checked the local vets and shelters. Today a neighbor who got my flyer called to tel me her cat went missing Halloween night also. Last ngiht Rachael drove me to look at some roadkill we were afraid might be Weez. Fortunately for us it was the remains of a racoon (unfortunate for the racoon). My heart is broken and my nerves are shot. Weezer is the sweetest cat in the world and I was very lucky to find her after the first time she went missing. I am praying for her safe return! All my friends and coworkers have been so supportive. It means a lot to me. I just hope that possibly some one has taken her in and given her a good home. I will be checking the shelter several tiems per week in case she turns up. If you believe in a higher power, please send up a little prayer for my Weezer cat. | | |
| It's been forever since I posted! I couldn't remember my password, and reallly haven't had time. I've been on the road a lot, both for Bed Head and White Lightnin. I am very excited about our Halloween show this Wednesday night. We go on at 11pm, andI'd love to see everyone there! As for my personal life, I have been a bit frustrated lately. I feel I have outgrown the size city Knoxville is and have thought about possibly moving. My career options here have reached a plateau and having been passed over for a promotion in July due to our airport's rates not being in the budget has really got me doing some thinking. I don't plan to just up and move, but I am doing some research. Also, I have pretty much given up on dating for the time being. I'm finding most people I meet want to sit on their couches watching movies and basically have no sense of adventure. Also, there is a bit of a lack of new and exciting things to do in Knoxville. It boils down to the fact that most people simply cannot hang. *sigh* At least I have an exciting Halloween shoe coming up! | | |
| Ahhh...It's been a very busy few weeks! Many travels and a few yet to come! There have been many changes in Knoxville in my absence, but I think they will be positive ones! White Lightnin Burlesque is happy to announce we will be sharing our July 14th and August 18th bookings at the French Quarter with Temple! I am so excited for the crowd who hasn't yet disocvered the French Quarter to experience this wonderful venue! I regret I will not be attending Temple's first night at the Quarter as I will be in ATL at the Rubber Ball! The Theme for July 14th's show is Good Girls Gone Bad!
